Best Practices
The research activities within FoodRisC aim to provide a coherent approach and practical guidance for stakeholders in developing responsive, authoritative and meaningful communication of food risks and benefits. To achieve this FoodRisC will:
- Develop protocols for policy makers and other food risk/benefit communicators about access and use of new and classical media channels for food risk/benefit communication
- Develop protocols for the potential use of the Vizzata tool for policy makers and other food risk/benefit communicators
- Refine the benchmarking framework initially developed within the project in order to develop systematic guidance to assist with the development for coherent strategies for communication of risk/benefit information in the food chain across Europe
- Provide guidance to enable policy officials and other food risk/benefit communicators to assess the potential of a range of methods to contribute to the effective communication of food risk and benefit communication
